However, around 3642 BBY, the Republic Strategic Information Service—Imperial Intelligence's Republic counterpart—raided the base, recovering dozens of classified data files. Among the data recovered was a report on a scientist who had upgraded the defenses of the Sith Emperor's space station, and the Jedi Knight Leeha Narezz used that data in her covert assignment to locate the scientist's lost shuttle where it had crashed on the planet Hoth two decades earlier.
