The alleged brother of the future Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin who was featured in a story told by the Espirion Saan, Gideon was a human male from the Outer Rim planet Eriadu. One day, when he was still a child, Gideon joined his father and brother on an expedition to Eadu in search of lommite. However, while left unsupervised with his brother, Gideon injured his ankle in a ravine and was unable to get back up. Gideon called out to his brother, Wilhuff, to fetch their father for assistance, as he faced the imminent threat of local creatures. Wilhuff disregarded his plea and headed back to their ship.
