Fleet Command was the command structure of the naval branch of the New Republic
During the Galactic Civil War against the Galactic Empire. Following a skirmish on Takodana, Inferno Squad asked Senator Leia Organa to approve a mission to Chinook Station to capture Imperial Admiral Garrick Versio since fleet command may not have approved of the squad undertaking a personal mission. Organa sympathized, and approved the mission.
In 9 ABY, Fleet Command was stationed aboard Home One and contacted Ahsoka Tano and informed her of the attack on the New Republic cruiser Vesper.
