The Elesa Mining Union was a guild organized to protect the interest of miners in the town of Elesa, capital of Ando Prime. As most of the inhabitants were miners and the profits were scarce, the Union was an important organization, and was managed from the comparatively-luxurious Miner's Union Hall.
At some point before 27 BBY, the Union's manager was bureaucrat Geon Justic. Justic was bribed by Ree to avoid problems with the local law while Ree and his partner Kaeline Ungasan performed an illegal mining operation of Vonium.
