Dwartii

Dwartii was a planet located in the Inner Rim, in grid square N-8 on the Standard Galactic Grid. It was home to the eponymous Four Sages of DwartiiSistros Nevet, Faya Rodemos, Yanjon Zelmar, and Braata Danlos—who were controversial philosophers and lawgivers from the early days of the Galactic Republic. Dwartii also shared its name with a social group that had a set of glyphs associated with it. A map showing Dwartii's location in the galaxy was included in Traveler's Guide to Batuu, a guide book for the planet Batuu written by the historian Eloc Throno.

In the new Star Wars canon, Dwartii was first mentioned in the 2014 novel Tarkin, written by James Luceno. The name "Dwartii" originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where the Four Sages of Dwartii were mentioned in the 2005 reference book Star Wars: Complete Locations, written by Kerrie Dougherty. Based on that mention, the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas also introduced the Dwartii system.
