Dilpram was a Chiss female and biological scientist who lived on the Chiss Ascendancy planet Naporar with her husband, Lakbulbup. In 18 BBY, Lakbulbup's cousin, Xodlak'phr'ooa, core name "Lakphro," from the planet Celwis, sent the couple a nyix brooch given to him by Haplif of the Agbui for analysis as having it analyzed on Celwis was too risky. Although Dilpram worked in a biological laboratory, Lakphro hoped she would be able to send the brooch to a metallurgist. However, the brooch was instead sent to Chiss Senior Captain Mitth'raw'nuruodo "Thrawn," renowned for his ability to analyze alien artwork.
