On August 24, 2022, writer Greg Pak tweeted that he had recently turned in the script for the issue.

The opening crawl of the issue states that Sabé had been sent on a mission to Skako Minor to assassinate Jul Tambor, even though the issue itself, and the prior issue, Darth Vader (2020) 29, depicted Sabé's mission as taking place on Brentaal IV.

On the first page, Saché refers to Eirtaé as "Saché."
