In 40 BBY, the facility was destroyed by blackguards acting under the orders of the Pijali Princess Fanry. The demolition of the factory was ultimately blamed on the Opposition performance troupe under the assumption that they were protesting the Pijali monarchy's Governance Treaty initiative. As a result of the factory attack, Lord Regent Rael Averross requested assistance from the Jedi High Council to help protect Fanry until her coronation took place.

For some time, the factory produced nutritional supplements for the Czerka Corporation and was operated by workers in the daytime. One night in 40 BBY, the factory was destroyed in an explosion secretly orchestrated by the Pijali Princess Fanry and carried out by the blackguard soldiers working for her. The factory's demolition was recorded by one of Pijal's satellites and broadcasted to a viewscreen in the Pijali palace's Grand Hall, where it was seen by a royal guard stationed there. The guard assumed that the explosion was initiated by members of the Opposition performance troupe, as the group was known for engaging in several protests against the upcoming signing of the Pijali monarchy's Governance Treaty. He reported the incident to Lord Regent Rael Averross and Fanry, who rushed to the Grand Hall and viewed holographic recordings of the factory's destruction.

Seeing that the incident infuriated Averross, Fanry outwardly acted horrified as well, despite having helped plan the attack. The regent's ire calmed after royal guard captain Deren confirmed that no one had died in the explosion. The event prompted Averross to request assistance in protecting Fanry from the Jedi High Council on the planet Coruscant, and eventually, Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi, were dispatched to aid Pijal. The Jedi pair began looking into the origins of several attacks in the Pijal system and acquired the recording of the factory's destruction from Deren to assist their efforts.
During the Jedi pair's investigation of the Opposition, both were told by their leader, Halin Azucca, that the attacks on Czerka facilities had been carried out by another group and then framed on her performance artists. Days later, the blackguards' involvement in the factory's destruction became publicly known on Pijal after Fanry publicly decried Czerka in her coronation speech and claimed responsibility for the actions of her blackguards.
The Czerka Corporation factory appeared in a hologram in Master & Apprentice, a 2019 novel written by Claudia Gray.
