Corrections officer

A corrections officer donned a blue uniform with a New Republic insignia on the left shoulder. Their white shoes that resembled those of an Imperial stormtrooper and their belt displayed an officer's disk upon the buckle. The white helmet of the officer, which featured a black tinted visor, was the same type of helmet as the ones used by the Alderaanian consular security and could include the officer's designation printed in Aurebesh on the side. Corrections officers could possess a A-180 blaster, holstered on their belt, and a tracking beacon.

A corrections officer first appeared in "Chapter 6: The Prisoner," the sixth episode of the first season of Jon Favreau's live-action television series The Mandalorian, which was directed by Rick Famuyiwa and released on December 13, 2019 on Disney+. The position was later identified in Joe Schreiber's junior novelization of The Mandalorian Season One, released in 2021.
