The conquest of Kiros was an invasion launched during the Clone Wars in 20 BBY by the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Marching into the pacifist Artisan colony of Togrutas on the planet Kiros, the Confederacy's B1-series battle droid rounded up all members of the population on the order of Zygerrian Darts D'Nar. The Togrutas were then taken to Zygerrian empire by Zygerrian enslavers. The conquest came as part of the Separatists' alliance with the rebuilding Zygerrian Slave Empire, which the Sith Lord Darth Sidious hoped to restore in preparation for his coming Galactic Empire. Aware of the Separatist incursion, the 212th Attack Battalion and 501st Legion of the Republic Military were then dispatched to investigate the lack of communications from Kiros.
The conquest of Kiros first appeared within "Kidnapped" and was identified through Darts D'Nar's entry on the StarWars.com Encyclopedia. However, both it and its later transfer to the Databank misspell Kiros as "Kiro."
