Colunda Prime

Colunda Prime was an astronomical object located in the Colunda Prime system. It constituted a part of the Colunda sector, a subsector of the Phelleem sector in the Slice portion of the Outer Rim Territories. Senator Char Bibbeck, who represented a sector in the Galactic Republic's Senate, hailed from Colunda Prime.

For a year leading up to the date 13:4:11, Bibbeck and their fellow Senator Jonas Wallen from the Mid Rim celestial body Darlon engaged in betting on the likelihood of specific planets to either secede from the Republic or remain a part of that government. The gambling was eventually revealed to the public, and on 13:4:11 it was reported on from Basbik, Colunda Prime for an issue of the CoCo District Edition of the HoloNet News.

Colunda Prime was introduced in HoloNet News Vol. 531 #51, an in-universe issue of the HoloNet News written by Pablo Hidalgo and Paul Ens and published on the HoloNet News website on April 11, 2002. The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Colunda Prime system, and therefore the celestial body itself, in grid square S-7.
