The Cantonarive crown coin was an expensive coin that originated from Canto Bight. During the Imperial Era, the coin was owned by Baron Administrator Lando Calrissian of Cloud City. Calrissian planned to give the coin to a grand slicer who would, in return, protect Cloud City from being taken over by the Galactic Empire. However, three Cloud City children, Moxxin, Traff, and Vanraya, pickpocketed the coin from Calrissian, intending to give it to the crime boss Wonn Ionstrike for a reward. Calrissian managed to convince the children that his deal with the slicer was worth more than anything Ionstrike would give them for the coin, and they changed their minds about giving it to Ionstrike, instead returning it to the Baron Administrator.
