Bonding tape was a type of tool. During a Rebel mission to Basteel, Major Lokmarcha used bonding tape to strap a lamp to the muzzle of his blaster rifle. The scavenger Rey had a roll of bonding tape in her toolkit. When Rey and the former First Order stormtrooper Finn stole the Millennium Falcon, Rey used a roll of bonding tape lying around, to patch a gas leak aboard the freighter.
