During the reign, the Galactic Empire under Sith Lord Darth Vader traveled to Benath and were able to subdue the Benathy by killing their king, but could not defeat a Zillo Beast, which they worshiped as their god. Thousands on both sides died during the battle.
The First Order's stormtroopers under Vader's grandson, Kylo Ren demanded that the current king, Kristoff end their expansion. The First Order warlord also demanded them to submit to the First Order. When Kristoff refused, Ren killed him. The Benathy fought Ren's forces until he defeated and killed the Zillo Beast. The Benathy bowed to Ren and chose to worship the First Order.
