In 4 ABY, the Beltire Liberation was carried out by the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War when it liberated the Mid Rim astronomical object Beltire. During the event, rebel pilot Lieutenant Shara Bey flew assist for Rampant Squadron.
After the liberation, Bey's fellow Green Squadron pilot L'ulo L'ampar heard about the lieutenant's participation and mentioned it to her after the two had taken part in the liberation of Cawa City on the planet Sterdic IV. L'ampar used it as an example of how Bey had been working very hard and stated he would try to get her assigned to lighter duties.
