The Star Wars Galaxy Map places Sterdic in the Outer Rim Territories in grid square P-17 of the Standard Galactic Grid. This is contradicted by the novel The Princess and the Scoundrel which specifically mentions that the planet was not located in the Outer Rim, but on the edge of it.
