Battle of Yn

The battle of Yn was a conflict between the Sith Empire and armies of Jedi and rebels, who faced the Sith Lord Tulak Hord. During Hord's campaigns on the planet Yn and the Jedi-held world of Chabosh, he rejected the Sith Lord Aloysius Kallig's offer to battle beside him. After Kallig killed Hord's right-hand general, Hord let the other Sith lead his forces in multiple victories.

When the Jedi attacked a Sith stronghold on Yn around 5300 BBY, Tulak Hord, his apprentice, Ortan Cela, and their Dashade Shadow Killers, Khem Val and Veshikk Urk, led an army of dark side warriors to break the Jedi siege, eliminating them and the rebels who opposed the expansion of the Sith Empire. Urk and Val feasted on the Force potential of their enemies, and Tulak Hord used a ritual to draw the strength of his enemies to himself in order to gain power and vitality. After winning the battle, Hord led his armies to take Chabosh as well.

Khem Val recounted Tulak Hord and his conquest of Yn and Chabosh fondly to the Sith Inquisitor he served, Kallig's descendant, around 3643 BBY, occasionally referring to both himself and Hord as the "conqueror of Yn and Chabosh."

The battle of Yn was first mentioned in the entry for Khem Val on the Holonet portion of the BioWare video game, Star Wars: The Old Republics official website in 2011. If the Sith Inquisitor player character chooses not to help Khem Val in the mission "The Escape," set around 3643 BBY on the world Taris, the Dashade would approve of the non-interference and force Darth Zash's spirit out of himself and into a mind prison made by the ancient Rakatan civilization, proclaiming in triumph that he served Tulak Hord, "conqeuror of Yn and Chabosh."
