In 3 ABY, the D'Armin Syndicate attacked a supply ship of the Tagge Corporation. News of the attack subsequently spread and left the company with a drop in the Hadi system. A day after the attack, Lady Domina Tagge—head of the corporation—was informed by her secretary Lapin Tagge of the attack when she inquired about the cause of the company's drop in the Hadi system. Following Lapin's report, Domina told them to have a battleship sent to cut off the syndicate at the celestial body Feriae Junction, where it was to then take out their weapons and engines and push them into the sun the following day.
