Ansion was a planet located in the Mid Rim. A border dispute occurred on Ansion during the Separatist Crisis, which, along with turmoil on the planet Ando, was enough to stagger the galaxy. Ansion was connected via hyperspace route to the planets Keitum, Glee Anselm, Namadii, Rago, and Benath.
Ansion first appeared in The Approaching Storm, a Star Wars Legends novel written by Alan Dean Foster as a tie-in to the 2002 film Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones and released on January 29, 2002. It became canon when it was mentioned in the aforementioned film.
