Telepathy
Telepathy, also sometimes referred to as Second Sight, was the ability to remotely communicate and interact with other beings, as well as to send and receive various types of information to and from the minds of other beings.
Description
Telepathy was the force ability that allowed one to mentally communicate and interact with other force sensitive beings.
Applications
Some force attuned beings were able to communicate remotely with others through the Force. Telepathy could often be difficult for a Jedi to use without rigorous and tough training, over the course of many years. Some began their training from an very young age.
Telepathy, especially when used among the Chiss species, from the Unknown Regions, was known as Second Sight. The power typically was observed in younger Chiss Force-users around the age of ten and began to fade as they grew older, along with other their other Force powers. When used to read the mind of another Chiss with the same power, the Second Sight ability carried the large risk that both would become lost in each other's minds. This could sometimes cause insanity and psychosis.
