In the 2022 video game, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, the events of which are non-canon, the name Nobot was canonized, with the droid appearing as the focus of the mission "Ghost Protocol". [1] The player character discovers the droid running inside an abandoned house with a kyber brick. Upon entry, the player is greeted with a very brief cutscene, before the droid seemingly disappears after dashing into one of the house's rooms, which is sealed shut. A mysterious key will then drop from the ceiling, which is then used to open the crawlspace. When crawling inside the crawlspace as a protocol droid or a BB-series astromech droid, Nobot reappears in front of the player with his legs gone, fleeing to the crawlspace's exit to the sealed room. Once the player exits the crawlspace, Nobot is seen again inside the sealed room, but the only thing that remained of him was his head. After that, the quest is completed, earning the kyber brick the droid was seen carrying around earlier. If the player chooses to revist the house, the door to the sealed room reopens itself, with Nobot nowhere to be found.

The quest's description uses male pronouns for the droid, stating that he wandered the streets of Mos Espa with no purpose. No one knew why he was there, stirring up many rumors about the droid. The residents of Mos Espa knew one thing for certain: Nobot was no ordinary protocol droid.
