Zygerrian-style faux crests were a hairstyle in which the hair was separated in two crests that mimicked the prominent ear flaps found in the Zygerrian species. Razoo Qin-Fee, a Kanjiklubber who had once participated in the underworld Zygerrian fighting circuit, favored the hairstyle.
Zygerrian-style faux crests first appeared in the 2015 film Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens. They were identified as such in the reference book Star Wars: The Force Awakens: The Visual Dictionary, written by Pablo Hidalgo and released the day after the film.
