The zucca boar or zucca pig was a large pig species native to the planet Tatooine. A muscular beast, it was slightly larger than the average womp rat, but not nearly as dexterous. Although the creature was herbivorous, it had thick skin and dangerous tusks. Nevertheless, the animal was often considered as as an example of easy prey.
During the Galactic Civil War, Jabba the Hutt's cook, Porcellus, used zucca meat to make zucca fruit pastry.
In 1 ABY, the proprietors of the Aerie Casino featured an animal fight between a zucca boar and a womp rat as part of their grand-opening celebration. The womp rat, though smaller, won the contest.
The comparison to a zucca pig was also used as an insult.
