Zorby was the proprietor of Zorby's Western Shiplot on the planet Ferrix during the reign of the Galactic Empire, employing the human sentry Pegla as his de facto head of security. In 5 BBY, Zorby was in the yard's office and called for a report from Pegla over the PA system after hearing a commotion in the back. Pegla was speaking to his friend Cassian Andor in the yard, but, as Andor was not meant to be there, the sentry contacted Zorby via comlink and claimed instead that rats were causing the commotion. Invoking Chobb, Zorby then told Pegla that there was a customer out front and ordered the sentry to use the yard's two Corellian hounds to deal with the issue.
