The appearance of the alien and Luke Skywalker's trip to this planet at the end of Star Wars: Yoda Stories is a reference to the end of an earlier game of similar design, Indiana Jones and his Desktop Adventures. At the end of that game, Indiana Jones is visited by the alien and taken onboard his starship.
