The painting X-Wing, alongside the paintings Imperial Star Destroyer and KSE Firespray, was one of three bonus paintings that was unlockable as a result of players accessing Star Wars Galaxies after the "Double Everything Weekend" event on the last days of The Empire Strike's Back 30th Anniversary Celebration. Accessing Galaxies after the Double Everything Weekend resulted in a painting container that contained in random one of the three above paintings, and could be opened using the radial menu.
