During the uprising on Kashyyyk, Wookiee warriors united together and repelled the Czerka Corporation from Kashyyyk.
During the Clone Wars, Wookiees fought for the Galactic Republic in several star systems, including within their home Kashyyyk system during the Battle of Kashyyyk. Decades later, Wookiee warriors fought for the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War, and subsequently as part of the Resistance.
They were armed with powerful bowcasters, thermal imploders, and Ryyk blades.
