"Wolf Trap" is a short story by Alyssa Wong, released as part of the anthology From a Certain Point of View: Return of the Jedi, that features the the scout trooper Hoyel, who had previously featured in Wong's comic story "Peekpa's Tale." During a podcast, Wong confirmed that the short story is a direct continuation of what happened to Hoyel in the comic. According to Wong on Twitter, they brought back the character because they loved the characters they wrote and wanted to depict them more often. The story was published on August 29, 2023.
