Wild Eight was the callsign assigned to the eighth pilot of the New Republic's Wild Squadron. During the Galactic Civil War, V-wing pilot Lieutenant Itina was designated this callsign at the Battle of Jakku, where she assumed command of the four remaining starfighters of the Deliverance's starfighter wing after Captain Nath Tensent retreated toward the end of the battle.
