Vitsun Weiss was a human individual who served in the Galactic Empire with the military rank of general. Weiss commanded a customized All Terrain Scout Transport during the Imperial Era. Weiss had light skin, and sported a jumpsuit and helmet used by AT-ST drivers. Weiss and their forces once cornered a group of rebel forces, whom Weiss called out to to demand a surrender.
General Weiss debuted in Star Wars canon in the AT-ST Unit Expansion, an expansion pack to Fantasy Flight Gamess Star Wars: Legion wargame that was released in 2018. Weiss originated in the General Weiss Villain Pack for Star Wars: Imperial Assault, a roleplaying game by Fantasy Flight Games which was released in 2015.
