A wash-up kit was a personal grooming tool. It was used by Alliance SpecForce interrogators as part of their interrogation technique. When using a method called "acceleration"—wherein they manipulated the prisoner into perceiving time was elapsing faster—interrogators used the wash-up kit to always appear washed and groomed to help the illusion of time passing. They were used in conjunction with a portable uniform fresher.
