In 3 ABY, when a team of smugglers were on-world while searching for the stolen Barani List on behalf of Black Sun Vigo Sprax, they were assigned an escort of five warrior monks by Rebel Alliance diplomat Mors Odrion. The group made their way to a Sedrian village that had recently been massacred by a rival team of mercenaries—working for Black Sun's Prince Xizor—and were attacked by four surviving villagers. When Xizor's team revealed themselves and joined in the fray, the villagers recognized the warrior monks and quickly aligned themselves with Sprax's team.
