The common cold proves to be highly uncommon, as Aree struggles to nurse a sick wampa back to health.
On behalf of the Galactic Society of Creature Enthusiasts, SF-R3 ("Aree") and CAM visit Hoth to treat a wampa suffering from the common cold. After dodging snow, Aree takes the wampa's temperature with a thermometer. Finding the creature feverish, he wraps him with a blanket and attempts to give him medicine. However, the wampa is initially uncoverative. Aree bathes the creature in a bath tank but the spray hose bursts. Later, Aree lights a fire for the wampa, which causes him to sweat and sneeze, unleashing a volley of snow. The snow heals the wampa's fever, restoring him to health.
Aree concludes that the best way to treat a wamp cold is with more cold. Aree wonders how he can escape being the creature's next meal. Aree lists several fun facts including that wampas are mammals and that they like to hang their prey upside down.
This episode marks the first canon appearance of the common cold.
