The Toydarian merchant Walisi was kidnapped from the Toydarian city of Riar. His kidnapper was the mercenary Wrecker, who was paid by the Nightsisters Jerserra. The kidnapping occurred because Walisi was attempting to sell a statue called Tragic Hope, which contained a shard of the Nardithi Cluster, an important Dathomirian relic.
Wrecker was paid 25,000 credits to kidnap Walisi and steal Tragic Hope. As part of the agreement, he was not allowed to take any other items in Walisi's shop. Although Walisi was defended by security droids, Wrecker's Mercenaries were able to overwhelm them easily.
