In 3643 BBY, Wain sent a message to a smuggler who saved his daughter after she was infected with theoretically incurable diseases by the sadistic Doctor Lazhae. He had hired the best scientists in the galaxy in hopes of curing her, but was relieved that this would put her extremist goals on hold.
