The Vortex of Fiery Dematerialization was an ancient artifact located within a temple on the world X3-299-11. When the hunters Winloss and Nokk explored the temple after being hired by Doctor Chelli Aphra, Nokk noticed the Vortex, and was mesmerized by it. Aphra warned her not to look at it, and Winloss forced Nokk away from the object.
