This vehicle could be seen in Mos Eisley in , and blueprints of the prop were featured in the 1977 Star Wars Blueprints collections. Those blueprints named it "The Void-Spider Land-Speeder TX-3."
Mission to Lianna describes the Void Spider TX-3 as a landspeeder, with a maximum altitude of only one meter. The Star Wars Sourcebook mentions that it's one of the most popular landspeeders (instead of airspeeder), but doesn't give more details.
