In May 2013, The Walt Disney Company and Electronic Arts entered an agreement that allowed Electronic Arts to create Star Wars games. In a press release, it was announced that Visceral Games would be developing a Star Wars game. The game currently is untitled, and has no release date. In July 2015, it was announced that Visceral Games had partnered with fellow Electronic Arts subsidiary Motive Studios to continue development on their Star Wars project. The studio was shut down in October of 2017.
