In 7 ABY, during the early stages of the New Republic's campaign against Warlord Zsinj, the planet was one of the many stops made by Wraith Squadron after their capture of the modified CR90 corvette Night Caller. During that time, the planet was ruled by Governor Watesk and in the process of pledging its loyalty to Zsinj. As of 7 ABY, Viamarr 4 maintained a small air force, Blackwing Flight, consisting of outdated Z-95 Headhunters.
