Vett Fori

Vett Fori was the chief supervisor of a mining operation on the asteroid Oseon 2795 during the Imperial Period, where she was assisted by Arun Feb. A short, tough-looking woman with a gentle smile, Fori spent her off hours smoking cigars and playing sabacc, where she was known as a heavy better. Fori's sabacc games often included whatever offworlders had found their way to Oseon 2795—one such game in 3 BBY included an offworld gambler and smuggler named Lando Calrissian. Although Fori left the game before Calrissian completely cleaned her out, she stayed long enough to witness local Constable T. Lund Phuna attempt to frame Calrissian for cheating and arrest him. Not willing to let Calrissian suffer such injustice, Fori and Feb knocked Phund unconscious and allowed the offworlder to escape.
