A member of the Galactic Empire was the commander of a group of Imperial cadets, including the human Venn. In 3 ABY, the commander and their cadets were present aboard the Executor, the flagship of the Sith Lord Darth Vader, when it was attacked by the Hutt Clan criminal syndicate in the Jekara system. During the battle, the commander and all of the cadets, excluding Venn, were killed.
Afterward, the cadet wandered through the ship and encountered the bounty hunter Beilert Valance, who he attempted to arrest in the name of the Emperor. After Valance talked the cadet out of arresting him, Venn informed the hunter about the fate of his commander and fellow cadets and admitted he did not know what he was supposed to do. Before he could do anymore, however, the cadet was sent into space when the compartment the two were in was vacced on the orders of Imperial Lieutenant Jyala Haydenn.
