The Vendusii Crystal was a type of crystal that originated in the Vendusii system of the Mid Rim's Vendusii sector. Vendusii Crystals could be obtained in mines, and their quality could be expressed in gradations such as Level-001. At one point, a highly skilled—yet very stubborn—Svivreni freelance mineralogist who was active several years after the formation of the New Republic in 4 ABY appraised the potential of a mine owned by the executive D'gaat. The mineralogist disagreed with D'gaat and confidently claimed that only Level-001 Vendusii Crystals would be produced by the mining operation.
