Valashar was a terrestrial astronomical object. At some point, a mining colony on Valashar ordered a phase connector, a rare and expensive type of mining device, from the Office of Acquisitions headquartered on the planet Castilon's supertanker fuel depot Colossus. The establishment's proprietors, Flix and Orka, kept the mining colony's phase connector in the back storeroom of their business and maintained a log of the sale in a database.
In 34 ABY, when the mechanic Kazuda Xiono was briefly running the Office of Acquisitions, he told the First Order operative Teroj Kee that he could not sell him a phase connector, as the one they had was already sold to the Valashar colony. When Kee then attempted to steal it, Xiono was forced to destroy the mining device to prevent him from escaping offworld with the merchandise.
