- Clone Wars Legends novels: The Cestus Deception (Steven Barnes) Jedi Trial (David Sherman) Yoda: Dark Rendezvous (Sean Stewart) Shatterpoint (Matthew Stover)
- Death Star and Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter (Michael Reaves) and Maul: Lockdown (Joe Schreiber; great horror writer, I didn't sleep for a week=|
- I, Jedi (Michael Stackpole), The Truce at Bakura (Kathy Tyers) and Honor Among Thieves (James Corey)
- Comics: Clone Wars Adventures #1-8, Star Wars (Marvel 2015) #1-25
- Ian Doescher's wonderful if NON-CANON dramatizations (William Shakespeare's Star Wars): The Phantom of Menace, The Clone Army Attacketh, Tragedy of the Sith's Revenge, Verily A New Hope, The Empire Striketh Back, The Jedi Doth Return (they're better than they sound!)
- Canon: Master & Apprentice (Claudia Gray), Heir to the Jedi (Kevin Hearne), and the Rogue One novelisation by Alexander Freed
I've also read the newer novelisations of the OT and prequels by Ryder Windham and Patricia Wrede, but I'd love to get my hands on the original ones, along with the Blackfleet Crisis trilogy, X-Wings and Bounty Hunters, Jedi Academy/Young Jedi Knights and the MedStar books! Shatterpoint is centered around Mace and Depa and a jungle. It's pretty dark and bloody, but nothing compared to Lockdown. =| I was on to Zero after a while, athough out of perversity I'd convinced myself it was really one of his background lackeys, and actually suspicious of the warden's brother (being an Agatha Christie fan hyped my detecting skills). . . but the plot twists kept me on my toes all right! And no, I didn't figure out what that first creature was. . . too busy trying to stuff everything else that was going on into my brain, is my excuse. Really well written, the author has a talent for making the goriest situations seem nonchalant and everyday, and he just keeps throwing them at you =\ Maul was at his best (I mean worst, haha). Yoda: Dark Redezvous is everything Yoda and Dooku, from Dagobah-type stew to blood-spattered roses. ALL the CW Legends novels are really good, and Karen Traviss is great! (And about the wampa: I wasn't sure at first if it was a cyborg or just infected, but whatever problem it had made it the most terrifying creature in the prison. . . not counting the undercover apprentice who killed it. . . and the Aqualish - Rook all along - I never saw coming. You should definitely read Darth Plagueis! It chronicles not only the life of Plagueis, but also his apprentice Sidious, his master Tenebrous, Maul, Venamis and other Sith. And as for Shatterpoint: I don't want to spoil the plot, but basically at the end Depa is in a deep coma-like state after being defeated in combat by Mace. Hi! Just wanted to say Merry Christmas, also I may be off the wikis for a while (aka a couple of months. . .) "real life" being what it is. What's real and what isn't anyway? *grumble*
I started reading Crucible over Christmas season. The first chapter's cliffhanger left me totally hooked! Hope you come up with some great stuff on the Legacy wiki while I'm gone. . . Looks like I'm back! I finished Crucible (it was great!) and a bunch of other stuff, including Jango Fett: Open Seasons (which was sadly on my to-read list for a while, but no longer!) and the rest of Clone Wars Adventures. A note about canon:
I think a reason why Canon is more overlooked is because it hasn't had the time to grow yet. Legends had years and canon hasn't. Just my perspective.
I am not sure who posted this, but I say unto thee: As long as I live I will NEVER like canon as LEGENDS, I have given it a chance, and they manage to fail again and again, why can't they give us one LEGENDS caliber character. They instead seem to try and make characters as unlikable as possble, I just don't understand, have a great day, and know I have given canon a chance and forever will be disliking it.

I don’t want to clutter your talk page, but I don’t really have many ways of contacting you. I just saw that you were a legends fan, and I was wondering what are your opinions on “Star Wars: The Clone Wars 2008” (though I doubt you would get the two names confused” I am simply wondering because many legends fans I have talked with like the show on it’s on, but agree that it kinda ruined the pre-2008 clone wars timeline and that it is one of the reasons that Legends gets a bad wrap as being “inconsistent and Full of plot holes”.
Sorry for this wired ass question, I am just interested in getting in contact with some hard core Legends fans, and saw that you looked like quite the “Legends Lover”.
