Talk: Dawidos2

Hi, reverted your edit on Second Battle of Empress Teta, as it removed sourced information from a FA-status article. If you think that part should be changed in the article, please open discussion in its talkpage. (: –  20:27, December 14, 2011 (UTC)

While all good-faith contributions to Wookieepedia are appreciated, we ask that you please refer to Wookieepedia:Images, which can be found under the "other policies and guidelines" link in your welcome message, and familiarize yourself with the sourcing and licensing requirements before uploading any more images. The only uploading method supported by Wookieepedia, Special:Upload, will prompt you to enter this information. Wikia's non-standard upload forms are not supported under Wookieepedia policy, and ignorance of the uploading rules is not an acceptable excuse. Continued violation of the image policy or falsification of any information in an upload description are considered vandalism and will likely result in a block. Thank you. -- Darth Culator 01:21, April 17, 2012 (UTC)

Hey Dawidos. First of all I'd like to compliment you on your ongoing work on the Disciples of Ragnos Crisis article, it's really coming off great. I'd just like to ask you to remember to reference it all while it's still fresh in your memory where you took all that information from. Another tip in the future is to make more related articles link to it. But so far, excellent work! Cheers. Stake black 15:05, December 22, 2012 (UTC)

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wookieepedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! Trip391 (talk) 19:32, September 10, 2013 (UTC)

Dawidos, I'm sorry, but this kind of listing of individuals is not how articles are written here. There's absolutely no reason to list all of the individuals who participated in a battle, and a battle article should discuss the events of the battle. Those lists will almost certainly be removed by other editors; the information belongs in the characters' respective articles if it is not already there. The rest of the Participants sections as it currently stands should be incorporated into the actual battle section—the article's so incredibly poor quality that it has no need for a participants section and a dire need for an expansion of the body. If the current planet's page shows the entire planetary globe, please do not replace it with one where the planet is warped, or partly chopped off. Thank you. - JMAS 17:45, April 5, 2020 (UTC)

Hello Dawidos, I noticed you're quite interested into adding quality artworks and illustrations to SWTOR articles. While it's a bit dormant at the moment, maybe you would be interested in joining the dedicated Wookieeproject? And thanks for providing those images, those are great ;) ! --NanoLuuke 19:56, April 20, 2020 (UTC)

Hi, If your source for picture or articles is going to be a tweet, its required to upload a screenshot that shows the tweet in question and the image used. Thanks--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 22:25, May 17, 2020 (UTC)

Whenever you create an article for an in-universe subject, please add said article to the "Appearances" section of the media that it appeared in. --Rakhsh (talk) 17:51, June 6, 2020 (UTC)

Hi, once again I remind you of backup links. All images that you've been uploading that are found in external websites such as this or this require an archive link, this with the purpose of saving the website in case the link gets removed. Please go through your uploads and please update them with their respective archive link. You can get those backup links here--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 09:25, June 12, 2020 (UTC)

Hi. While quality TOR images are appreciated, please not that your recent edit updated a Featured article without providing an edit summary. Edit summaries are extremely useful when trying to determine the content of contributions, especially on FAs and other such status articles, as they help explain why an alteration was necessary for an article that has already been reviewed and labeled as one of the best articles on Wookieepedia. Please take care to provide an edit summary in the future, especially on status articles. Fan26 () 20:11, July 9, 2020 (UTC)

I notice that several of the messages here are regarding that images you are uploading. You are uploading tons of images that have no place to be used. You will upload 5 images and only put 1 or 2 of them in pages. All those unused images end up having to be deleted, which is a waste of Admin time. Please stop. Do not upload an image unless and until you KNOW you have a page you can put it in. - JMAS 22:58, July 13, 2020 (UTC)

Do not add more images to small articles, there's no need to add images just because its concept art. If the article can't support another then don't add them, it just makes the article looks crowded--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 21:24, July 19, 2020 (UTC)

Hello. You need to update the source fields of the file pages you are uploading new images for to reflect where you are getting the new, improved versions of these images from. You didn't find this new higher-res version of the "Courier Intercepted" image from the Chris Trevas website URL, for example. If you do not properly source these images, they will be deleted. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 22:38, 20 November 2020 (UTC)

  • The only supported upload function on Wookieepedia is Special:Upload which lists everything you need — description, source, and licensing template. Using this page to upload files will also put all your provided information into a neat template. You should also make sure to include relevant categories when uploading. Hope that helps, 1358(Talk) 20:44, December 25, 2012 (UTC)

  • Dawidos, I've noticed you've continued to work on the Battle of Balmorra article. I just wanted to let you know that I am writing up a fully-sourced and fleshed-out version of the article, the same way I did to the Battle of Corellia, that I intend to replace the current article with and likely will take to status. I wanted to let you know now so that you don't go and flesh out more of the article, as I'd hate to see any further work spent on something that will be replaced.
