Urcos Furdam

Urcos Furdam first appeared in the 2019 sequel trilogy film, Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker, and was identified by name in the accompanying reference book Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo and released on the same day as the film. The character was portrayed by , frontman of the band Mumford & Sons, in a cameo performance.

Furdam's flight helmet was created within two days by , a model making company that also created all of the Resistance pilot helmets for the film. The creators intended to build a conventional fighter pilot-style helmet connected to an oxygen mask. The helmet's visor was a repurposed stormtrooper lens prop from the 2016 film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
