An upcoming Star Wars strategy video game is being developed by EA's Respawn Entertainment, who has partnered with to produce. The video game was announced on January 25, 2022 alongside Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and a new first-person shooter video game. Previously, EA had reported a new Star Wars game in development during a 2019 investors' call.
On March 2, 2024, it was confirmed by Bit Reactor that the game was still in development, amidst the recent announcement of a wave of lay-off at Electronic Arts, and the cancellation of Respawn Entertainment's Star Wars first-person shooter project.
