A variant of the Variable Geometry Self-Propelled Battle Droid, Mark I was a droid starfighter model used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars.
Based on the design of the vulture droid, this spy droid had a wider hull but was unstable. It couldn't transform its shape into walking mode. It had no shield but was fast. Being a droid, it was not able to improvise.
The starfighter was used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems against Republic forces during the Clone Wars.
