A temple was located on the planet Numidian Prime. Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY, the Jedi-in-training Luke Skywalker and the astromech droid R2-D2 traveled to Numidian Prime in search of the temple. After Skywalker was unsuccessful in an attempt to locate the temple, he returned to the camp he had set up with R2 and found the droid on the ground powered down. Skywalker was then kidnapped by the rogue archaeologist Doctor Chelli Lona Aphra, who needed his help in acquiring what she believed was a Jedi artifact on the gas giant Sason.
