A species of non-sentient long-necked quadrupeds lived on the planet Buoyant by 54 BBY. During that year, the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Plagueis and his apprentice, Darth Sidious, visited Buoyant and, in order to strengthen their own connection to the dark side of the Force, engaged in a hunt where they pursued a herd of the quadrupeds and killed several of the animals.
